ROOFBOND MPB 301 is an acrylic bonding agent that doubles as an admixture for concrete and mortar. As a bond coat you mix it with cement and brush the slurry onto the old surface. As an acrylic emulsion admixture you add it to the mix, where it makes the mortar or concrete highly durable and impermeable.
Brush on the 1:1 slurry and place new concrete while tacky.
Bond coat applied to the cleaned surface before the repair plaster.
Added to the jointing mortar for brick and block work.
Used in mortar for stone and granite masonry.
Mixed into the cement used for filling tile joints.
Weather resistant, durable mortar for structural repair and restoration.
Where plaster is not sticking to the wall, start with a bond coat of ROOFBOND MPB 301 and cement in a 1:1 ratio by volume. For use in the mix, add 1–5 litres per 50 kg bag of cement. It is compatible with all types of cement and is a non toxic bonding agent. Place the mortar while the slurry is tacky, not before, and cure the finished repair with water for a minimum of 7 days.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFBOND MPB 301 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
The acrylic emulsion modifies the cement mix, giving a highly durable and impermeable mortar or concrete.
One product works as a 1:1 bond coat with cement or as an admixture, so the repair uses a single material.
The modified mortar has excellent weather resistance, which matters for structural repairs and restoration.
Clean the existing substrate thoroughly — remove dust, oil, loose particles
For bond coat: mix ROOFBOND MPB 301 with cement in 1:1 ratio by volume
Apply bond coat slurry by brush to the prepared substrate and allow to become tacky
For use as admixture: add 1–5 Ltrs per 50 kg bag of cement to the mix
Place concrete or mortar onto the tacky bond coat
Ensure good compaction and avoid applying bond coat too early — apply while tacky
Cure the completed repair with water for minimum 7 days

View DetailsROOFBOND EP is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin bonding agent for producing excellent bond strength between old and new concrete and cementitious surfaces. Brush-applied in a thin film, it cures to a high-strength epoxy bond layer with an open overlay window of 2–3 hours at 30°C and 5–6 hours at 20°C. It delivers 52 N/mm² compressive, 36 N/mm² flexural and 25 N/mm² tensile strength. Suitable for both damp and dry surfaces. Approved and extensively used across CPWD, PWDs, APGENCO and government infrastructure projects.
