SHINESHIELD Interior Emulsion is a high-performance, high-shine interior emulsion paint formulated with special co-polymers, fine pigments and functional additives — anti-fungal, anti-algae and anti-fading. Delivers excellent durability, good washability, smooth pleasing finish and exceptional whiteness on interior walls, ceilings, plasters, brick and asbestos surfaces. Water-based, non-flammable and low VOC (<50 g/L). Tintable to any shade with stainers.

SHINESHIELD Interior Emulsion is an interior emulsion paint made with special co-polymers, fine pigments and functional additives. It is water-based and non-flammable, and it is thinned with water and applied by brush, roller or spray over a primed surface. As an anti fungal interior paint it also carries anti-algae and anti-fading additives.

For fungus on a bedroom wall or in other humid rooms, clean off all fungus and algae before you paint. This low VOC wall paint has VOC below 50 g/L and is surface dry in 30 minutes. The first coat, thinned 1:1 with water, covers 220–280 sq.ft per litre, and the topcoat, thinned with 500–600 ml of water per litre, covers 120–140 sq.ft per litre. Packs are 1, 4, 10 & 20 Ltrs. Allow 4–6 hours between topcoats.

Surface Preparation: Ensure surface is absolutely dry and free from dirt, dust, rust, loose paint, loose particles, damaged plaster, oils, fungus and algae — clean with wire brush and water wash
Acid etch if required, before the water wash
Strip all old paint and remove all loose particles before the cleaning process
Fill cracks with appropriate filler before painting
Priming: Apply one coat of RAINPROOF CP or RAINPROOF WP primer diluted 1:1 with water — by brush, roller or spray; allow minimum 4 hours drying time before the first emulsion coat
First Coat: Dilute SHINESHIELD Interior Emulsion 1:1 with water (50% dilution by volume); strain through thin cloth and apply by brush, roller or spray; allow minimum 4 hours to dry
Topcoat: Dilute 1 litre of SHINESHIELD Interior Emulsion with 500–600ml of water; apply 2–3 topcoats for good hiding and coverage; allow 4–6 hours between each coat
Available in 1, 4, 10 & 20 Litre packs. Shelf life of 24 months from manufacture, stored between 10°C and 30°C in original packing.
Do not apply in high wind, very hot conditions, direct sunlight or when rain is imminent. Allow each coat to dry fully (4–6 hours) before applying the next. Surface must be completely dry before painting.
