Acrylic polymer that works as a bond coat or admixture, reducing permeability in cementitious mortars and concretes at 1–5 litres per 50 kg bag.
Acrylic Polymer Bonding Agent. High performance polymer bonding agent reducing permeability in cementitious mortars and concretes. Compatible with all cement types. Eco-friendly and non-toxic. Used as bond coat or admixture to increase durability and tensile and flexural properties.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ROOFBOND PB 210 is an acrylic polymer bonding agent for cementitious mortars and concretes. Mixed with cement, it is brushed on as a bond coat before new mortar or concrete is placed. Used as a polymer admixture for mortar, it partly replaces the mixing water, reduces permeability and improves tensile and flexural properties.
Brush on the 1:1 bond slurry and place concrete while tacky.
Added to the cement mix used for tile and granite joints.
Bond coat and admixture for plaster repair work.
Raises durability, tensile and flexural properties of repair concrete.
Reduces permeability of the mortar used on masonry.
Used as bond coat or admixture in floor mortars and concretes.
If you want to know how to reduce mortar permeability, add 1–5 litres per 50 kg bag of cement in place of part of the mixing water. For a bond coat, mix it 1:1 with cement. It is compatible with all cement types, eco-friendly and non-toxic, and gives a low permeability mortar. Place mortar or concrete while the bond coat is still tacky, compact thoroughly, and cure with water for 7 days minimum.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFBOND PB 210 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
The polymer reduces permeability in cementitious mortars and concretes, improving resistance to water and chemical ingress.
Used as bond coat or admixture, it increases durability along with the tensile and flexural properties of the mix.
It is compatible with all types of cement, so you can use it with the cement already on site.
Prepare surface by removing all loose material, dust, and contamination
Mix ROOFBOND PB 210 with cement 1:1 for use as bond coat
Apply bond slurry to prepared surface by brush and allow to become tacky
As admixture: replace mixing water partially — add 1–5 Ltrs per 50 kg cement
Place mortar or concrete while bond coat is still in tacky condition
Compact thoroughly and finish as required
Cure with water for 7 days minimum

ROOFBOND SBR is a high-performance Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) latex polymer bonding agent for high-quality cementitious repairs and structural restoration. A multifunctional, single-component liquid for both internal and external surfaces, it also provides high-performance waterproofing — a universal repair product for concrete and masonry works.
View DetailsROOFBOND EP is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin bonding agent for producing excellent bond strength between old and new concrete and cementitious surfaces. Brush-applied in a thin film, it cures to a high-strength epoxy bond layer with an open overlay window of 2–3 hours at 30°C and 5–6 hours at 20°C. It delivers 52 N/mm² compressive, 36 N/mm² flexural and 25 N/mm² tensile strength. Suitable for both damp and dry surfaces. Approved and extensively used across CPWD, PWDs, APGENCO and government infrastructure projects.
