    RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU

    • Basement water leakage
    • Active seepage under pressure
    • Soil and abutment stabilisation
    • Marine structure grouting

RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU is an expansive, water-reactive, water-barrier polyurethane injection grout for free-flow pressure grouting. When it contacts water — including seawater and water containing slight acids or alkalies — it reacts quickly, expands into surrounding pores, cracks and narrow gaps, and polymerises within 36–48 seconds into a tough, highly adhesive solid. Non-toxic, non-pollutant, with no effect on potable water or marine life. Suitable for soil and abutment stabilisation, underground basements, retaining walls, rock areas, earth filling segments and structures exposed to waste water, industrial, chemical and sewage environments.

Where to use RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU: PU injection grout for active leaks

RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU is a PU injection grout that reacts with water. It is a single component, light yellow liquid that is pumped through packers or nipples fixed into drilled holes. On contact with water, including seawater, it expands into pores, cracks and narrow gaps and sets into a tough, highly adhesive solid, which makes it a water reactive grout for live leaks.

    • Soil & Abutment Stabilisation

Injected into loose ground, where it expands and solidifies.

    • Underground Basements (Negative Pressure)

Injected from inside the basement to block water coming through cracks.

    • Retaining Walls

Seals leaking cracks and narrow gaps by pressure injection.

    • Earth Filling Segments

Pumped into the fill, where it reacts with water and expands.

    • Rock Areas

Low viscosity lets it travel into narrow gaps in rock.

    • Marine & Coastal Structures

Stated to have no effect on marine life.

    • Seawater Environments

Reacts quickly in seawater and sets into a tough solid.

    • Sewage & Chemical Waste Structures

Reacts in water containing slight acids or alkalies.

    • Active Seepage Zones

Seals high-pressure leaks without first blocking the hydraulic pressure.

    • Ground Consolidation

Injected by pump to fill voids and treat loose ground.

For basement water leakage, the gel time is 0.6–0.8 minutes (36–48 seconds), so the result shows at the injection point immediately. Viscosity is 210 cps at 25°C, low enough for this PU grouting chemical to enter cracks under active flow. It is non-toxic, non-flammable and has no effect on potable water. Packs are 1 kg, 5 kg and 25 kg, with a shelf life of 1 year. If the zone is dry, inject water as well to start the reaction.

Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.

    Expansive Water-Reactive Polyurethane Injection Grout

Seals in Seconds. Safe Where It Matters.

An expansive polyurethane injection grout that gels in 36–48 seconds on water contact — including seawater and chemically varied groundwater — with no effect on potable water or marine life. For soil stabilisation, underground basements, retaining walls and coastal structures.

    Why It Works

When the Water You're Sealing Is the Problem

In coastal, marine and chemically contaminated environments, conventional grouts face a double challenge: active water ingress flushes the grout out, and the chemical composition of the water (salinity, acidity, alkalinity) can compromise cure.

    The RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU Advantage

A water-reactive grout that uses water — including seawater and mildly acidic or alkaline water — as its activator, gelling in 36–48 seconds regardless of water chemistry. Non-toxic, with no effect on potable water or marine life.

    Works Under Active Hydraulic Pressure

High-pressure leakages can be sealed without blocking the hydraulic pressure first. Low viscosity at 210 cps allows penetration into the smallest cracks, fissures and pores under active flow — and gel time of 36–48 seconds ensures the grout sets before the water can displace it.

    Soil & Abutment Stabilisation

Beyond crack injection, RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU is specifically listed for soil stabilisation and abutment treatment — injected to consolidate water-bearing ground under foundations, embankments and road structures where loose soil and groundwater are the risk.

Built for the Toughest Water Environments

    Marine, Seawater & Underground

    Marine & Coastal
No effect on potable water or marine life — safe for coastal structures, harbours and marine infrastructure
    Seawater & Chemically Varied Water
Solidifies in seawater and water containing slight acids or alkalies — not limited to clean groundwater
    Underground & Negative Pressure
Basements, retaining walls and earth filling segments under negative hydrostatic pressure

    Application Procedure

Pressure injection methodology for active leak stoppage, ground consolidation and soil stabilisation

    1

Identify the crack, void, leaking zone or loose ground area requiring treatment

    2

Drill injection holes at appropriate spacing and depth — angle towards the centre of the crack, void or treatment zone

    3

Fit packers or nipples into the drilled holes

    4

Fill the injection pump with RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU

    5

⚠️ If insufficient natural water is present at the injection zone, also inject water to initiate the polyurethane reaction

    6

Begin injection using a low-pressure hand-operated pump; use high-pressure pump with special packers for specific conditions requiring higher pressure

    7

High-pressure leakages can be sealed without first blocking the hydraulic pressure — the low viscosity allows penetration under active flow

    8

⚠️ Gel time is 0.6–0.8 minutes (36–48 seconds) — results are immediately visible; monitor the injection point closely

    9

Once the void, crack or ground zone is sealed, cease injection and remove packers

    10

    Seal injection holes after treatment
