ALSTRONG FS 334 is a rapid hardening admixture that is also fast setting and water resistant. It is a liquid, so it is easy to handle: you blend it with the mixing water before adding it to the cement. The concrete or shotcrete then sets extremely fast and keeps gaining early-age strength.
Fast setting concrete or shotcrete for rock support in tunnels.
Fast set and early-age strength for concrete in mining work.
Water resistant mix for harsh and wet ground conditions.
Fast set and early strength for TBM lining work.
Concrete that sets fast when the work is urgent.
Added to the cement mix used for soil stabilisation.
For concrete in wet tunnel ground, the dosage is 1–3 litres per 50 kg bag of cement. The product complies with IS 9103-99 and comes in 1, 5, 20 and 225 kg packs. As a fast setting liquid admixture it shortens pot life, so place the concrete or shotcrete immediately after mixing and build thick sections in layers. Check early strength before removing formwork or support, then wet cure for a minimum of 3–7 days.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ALSTRONG FS 334 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
The mix sets extremely fast, so thick sections can be built in layers with initial set between passes.
Early-age strength develops continuously, and you monitor it before removing formwork or support.
It is formulated as a water resistant admixture, suited to harsh and wet ground conditions.
Add ALSTRONG FS 334 to concrete mix at dosage of 1–3 Ltrs per 50 kg cement
Mix liquid admixture with mixing water before adding to cement
Ensure uniform distribution throughout the concrete mix
Apply concrete or shotcrete immediately after mixing — reduced pot life
For thick section applications: build up in layers allowing initial set between passes
Monitor early strength development before removing formwork or support
Wet cure after application for minimum 3–7 days
