RAPIDSTRONG SG 88 is a gunite accelerator in liquid form for sprayed concrete and shotcrete. Added at the spray nozzle or at the mixer, it turns flowable sprayed concrete into a cohesive, non-sagging consistency. Setting is extremely fast and early strength keeps building, which is what an overhead shotcrete admixture has to deliver.

To deal with overhead shotcrete sagging, dose 500 ml to 3 litres per 50 kg bag of cement, depending on the setting speed you need. The product complies with IS 9103-99 and comes in 1, 5, 20 and 210 litre packs. As a shotcrete set accelerator in wet mix work it is injected at the nozzle. Apply in controlled layers, let the first layer reach initial set before the next, and water cure once initial set is achieved.
