    Where to use RAINPROOF PHC 5 Layer System: basement and roof waterproofing system

    RAINPROOF PHC 5 Layer System is a basement and roof waterproofing system based on an advanced polyurethane hybrid. Five layers go down in sequence, starting with PU primer, then two base coats with a high-strength fibre mesh between them, and a UV-stable topcoat. The result is an elastic, crack-bridging membrane, also used for substructure waterproofing and podiums.

    • Basements & sub-structures

      Elastic membrane that bridges cracks up to 3 mm in basements.

    • Roof terraces

      UV-stable topcoat for roof terraces in extreme weather.

    • Podium decks

      Fibre reinforced layers with elongation above 350% for podiums.

    • Water retaining structures

      Five integrated layers form the membrane on water retaining structures.

    • Exposed concrete roofs

      Excellent UV stability for roofs left open to the sun.

    • Planter boxes

      Crack-bridging, fibre reinforced membrane for planter boxes.

    Coverage is 16–18 sq.ft per litre per coat. For planter box leakage or cracked roof slabs, this is a 3 mm crack bridging system with elongation above 350% and excellent UV stability. Prepare the surface by cleaning and repairing cracks, then prime. Embed the fibre mesh while the first base coat is wet, and apply the topcoat after 24 hours cure.
