RAINSEAL HFC 5 Layer System is an acrylic terrace waterproofing system for terraces, roofs and podiums. It is a fibre reinforced acrylic system built up as primer, base coat, mesh, second base coat and topcoat, with the base coats applied by brush or roller. Together the layers form a seamless, crack-bridging elastomeric membrane.

UV-resistant topcoat finishes the system on exposed roofs.
Coverage is 18–20 sq.ft per litre per coat. For terrace cracks and leakage, the membrane bridges cracks up to 2 mm and stretches more than 250%. This UV resistant terrace coating goes on as primer, base coat, mesh, base coat and topcoat, after cracks and defects are repaired. Embed the fibre reinforcement mesh while the first base coat is wet, and apply the topcoat after 24 hours.

The acrylic elastomeric base stretches more than 250%, so the membrane can bridge cracks up to 2 mm.
A fibre mesh is embedded between the two base coats, reinforcing the membrane across the whole surface.
The final topcoat is UV resistant, giving the system excellent UV and weather resistance on exposed roofs.
Clean and prepare surface, repair cracks and defects
Apply primer coat and allow to dry

Embed fibre reinforcement mesh while wet
Apply second base coat over mesh
Apply UV-resistant topcoat after 24 hours
