ReadRepair Mortars & Dry Mixes
ROOFCRETE AR is a two-component, pre-packed, high-build polymer-modified structural reinstatement mortar. Part 1 (polymer liquid) is mixed with Part 2 (fibre-reinforced powder) at the exact factory-set ratio — no site batching, no dosage errors. Achieves 13 N/mm² compressive strength at 1 day, 48 N/mm² at 28 days and 9 N/mm² flexural strength. NIL chloride, NIL carbonation and 0.40% water absorption make it fully reinforcement-safe. For structural repair depths of 6–100 mm on columns, beams, slabs and spalled concrete.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ROOFCRETE AR is a structural repair mortar supplied as a two-component, pre-packed, high-build system. Part 1, a polymer liquid, is mixed with Part 2, a fibre-reinforced powder, at the factory-set ratio, so there is no site batching. This polymer modified repair mortar is trowelled into a tacky bond coat to rebuild columns, beams, slabs and spalled concrete.
Rebuilds column sections in layers of 6–100 mm.
Trowelled into a tacky bond coat and compacted firmly.
Replaces broken-out concrete after the steel is cleaned and primed.
High-build mortar reaching 48 N/mm² at 28 days.
NIL chloride diffusion keeps the repair safe for reinforcement.
Pre-packed unit avoids site batching and dosage errors.
For concrete spalling repair, this fibre reinforced repair mortar reaches 13 N/mm² compressive strength at 1 day and 48 N/mm² at 28 days, with 9 N/mm² flexural strength. Water absorption is 0.40%, and chloride diffusion and carbonation are NIL. One 25 kg pack covers 1.30 m² at 10 mm. Shelf life is 6 months in a sealed pack. Mix for 3–4 minutes with a slow-speed drill paddle, and moisture-cure for a minimum of 7 days.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFCRETE AR to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
The polymer liquid and powder are factory-metered, which removes the batch-to-batch dosage variation of site-mixed mortar.
Part 2 is a fibre-reinforced powder, and the mortar reaches 9 N/mm² flexural strength for structural reinstatement work.
NIL chloride diffusion, NIL carbonation and 0.40% water absorption make the repair safe for the reinforcement inside.
48 N/mm² at 28 days, NIL chloride, NIL carbonation — a factory-proportioned Part I liquid and Part II powder for reliable, error-free site execution.
Get a QuoteWeighing polymer, cement and sand on site — under monsoon or dust — introduces dosage variance. Under-dosed polymer means brittle repair; over-dosed means slump. Batch-to-batch quality drifts.
Part I and Part II are factory-proportioned. Add water, pour Part I, then Part II — mix. Every batch delivers the same 48 N/mm² regardless of who mixes it. 25 kg pack ≈ 1.30 m² at 10mm.
13 N/mm² compressive strength in the first day; 48 N/mm² and 9 N/mm² flexural at 28 days — structural-grade repair performance.
Factory-proportioned Part I and Part II at the optimum polymer-to-powder ratio — eliminating the risk of under- or over-dosing on site.
NIL chloride ion diffusion and NIL carbonation effect — both confirmed by test — protecting existing and new reinforcement from corrosion.
Vertical 6–100mm, horizontal to 40mm (100mm multi-layer), and mass applications to 100mm — one system across all repair depths.
Pre-packed polymer modified mortar for RCC repair, retaining structures and water-tank rehabilitation.
13 N/mm² @ 1 day; 48 N/mm² compressive and 9 N/mm² flexural at 28 days — full structural repair performance for RCC columns, beams and slabs.
Part I (polymer liquid, 1 kg) and Part II (modified powder, 24 kg) shipped as a matched pair — no site weighing of polymer, no batch variance.
NIL chloride ion diffusion, NIL carbonation and 0.40% water absorption (BS 1881:1970) — protective for existing and new reinforcement.
Vertical 6–25mm (100mm in pockets); horizontal to 40mm (100mm in 2–3 layers); mass applications above 50mm with graded aggregates.
Break out all deteriorated concrete to expose sound substrate — minimum 6 mm, up to 100 mm per layer
Mechanically clean exposed reinforcement to Sa 2.5 / St 3 and coat with ALSTRONG AC anti-corrosive primer
Saturate the substrate with clean water (SSD condition) and apply ROOFBOND SBR bonding slurry
Empty Part 1 (polymer liquid) into a clean mixing container; add Part 2 (powder) gradually while mixing
Mix for 3–4 minutes with a slow-speed drill paddle to a smooth, lump-free mortar
Apply by trowel into the tacky bond coat; compact firmly and finish to the required profile
For depths > 50 mm, apply in successive layers with a bond coat between passes
Moisture-cure for a minimum of 7 days by wet hessian or fine mist spray
