ROOFCRETE URP is a high-performance, multipurpose SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) latex-based repair and waterproofing product compliant with BS 6319 Part 2:1983 and ASTM C190-85. One product, three functions: as a bonding agent between old and new concrete, as a polymer modifier improving repair mortar strength and flexibility, and as a two-coat waterproofing slurry coating. Improves hardness, flexural strength, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. For terraces, toilets, chajjas, RCC member repairs, masonry walls, waterproofing mortars, tile bedding and re-fixing stone and marble.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ROOFCRETE URP is an SBR latex waterproofing and repair product with three functions in one. It is a bonding agent between old and new concrete, a polymer modifier for repair mortars, and a two-coat waterproofing slurry coating. It is mixed with cement and brushed on, or added to mortar, which makes it a universal repair polymer.
Two slurry coats, then a 15–20 mm protective mortar screed.
Brushed on as a cement slurry in two coats.
Waterproofing slurry or polymer-modified repair mortar for chajjas.
Bond coat plus modified mortar built up in 10–15 mm layers.
Two-coat waterproofing slurry coating on sound masonry walls.
Mixed 1:1 with cement by volume and brush applied.
Added as a polymer modifier to cement mortar.
Used in bedding mortar and for re-fixing stone and marble.
The SBR latex mix ratio is 1:1 with cement by volume for both the bond coat and the waterproofing slurry. Coverage is 22–25 sq.ft/kg in 2 coats for waterproofing and 45–50 sq.ft/kg per coat as a bonding agent. It complies with BS 6319 Part 2:1983 and ASTM C190-85. For SBR bonding and waterproofing work, allow 4–5 hours between coats and air cure for a minimum of 72 hours. Do not dilute, and use mixed material within 45 minutes.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFCRETE URP to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
Styrene Butadiene Rubber latex improves hardness, flexural strength, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of cementitious work.
One product works as bonding agent, mortar modifier and waterproofing slurry, so a repair and its waterproofing use the same material.
It is supplied at 38 ± 1% total solids and never diluted, so the same polymer content goes into every mix.
BS 6319 + ASTM C190-85 certified SBR latex for three construction functions — bonding agent, repair mortar polymer modifier, and waterproofing slurry coat.

Unlike other SBR products, dilution of ROOFCRETE URP is strictly not recommended. Also NOT suitable for cathodic treatments to rebar. Consume mixed material within 45 minutes.
BS 6319 Part 2:1983 + ASTM C190-85 compliant. 38 ± 1% solids, pH 7.7, SG 1.01. 2-year shelf life in sealed pack.
One SBR latex — bonding, repair and waterproofing with different mixing ratios and coverage rates for each function. Economical and easy to use.
Dual standard compliance for structural bonding and repair applications — international credentials for specification-grade works.
Styrene Butadiene Rubber chemistry with pH 7.7, 38% solids and SG 1.01. Dilution strictly not recommended — mix with cement only at the ratios specified for each application.
Hardness, flexural strength, abrasion resistance, erosion resistance, corrosion resistance and cement grout fluidity — across all three application modes.
Storage, precautions and the three-function playbook — read before ordering.
Shelf life 2 years from manufacture in sealed packs stored under proper conditions. Confirm packing sizes with the Armstrong sales team.
⚠️ Consume mixed material within 45 minutes. Dilution strictly not recommended. Do not apply over loose or cracked plaster. Not for cathodic treatments to rebar. Moisten the substrate adequately before application.
Bonding agent (1:1 URP:cement, brush apply), repair mortar modifier (20% URP in 1:3 cement mortar) and waterproofing slurry (1:1 URP:cement, 2 coats) — with separate coverage rates for each use.
As Bonding Agent — clean the surface, remove loose concrete/dust and pre-wet with water
Mix ROOFCRETE URP + cement 1:1 by volume; brush apply one coat over the damp surface
Apply fresh concrete or repair mortar within 15–20 minutes while the bond coat is tacky
For Repair Mortar — remove loose/cracked concrete to a healthy surface; clean exposed steel mechanically
Apply bond coat as above; prepare mortar with 20% ROOFCRETE URP in 1:3 cement mortar using a mechanical mixer
Apply while bond coat is tacky; build in 10–15 mm layers; finish trowel smooth
For Waterproofing — fill cracks up to 5 mm with WONDERSEAL XL; cracks >5 mm with ROOFEXSEAL PS / ROOFEXSEAL PU 212
Mix ROOFCRETE URP + cement 1:1 by volume; apply 1st coat to touch-dry surface; allow 4–5 hours
Apply 2nd coat and air cure for minimum 72 hours; protect with a 15–20 mm mortar screed on horizontal surfaces
⚠️ Consume mixed material within 45 minutes. Do NOT dilute ROOFCRETE URP.

ROOFCRETE AR is a two-component, pre-packed, high-build polymer-modified structural reinstatement mortar. Part 1 (polymer liquid) is mixed with Part 2 (fibre-reinforced powder) at the exact factory-set ratio — no site batching, no dosage errors. Achieves 13 N/mm² compressive strength at 1 day, 48 N/mm² at 28 days and 9 N/mm² flexural strength. NIL chloride, NIL carbonation and 0.40% water absorption make it fully reinforcement-safe. For structural repair depths of 6–100 mm on columns, beams, slabs and spalled concrete.
