ROOFCRETE AR 576 is a high-build polymer-modified structural reinstatement mortar for concrete repairs from 6–100mm. It develops 13 N/mm² compressive strength at 1 day and 48 N/mm² at 28 days, with 9 N/mm² flexural strength, zero carbonation penetration, zero chloride-ion diffusion and 0.40% water absorption.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ROOFCRETE AR 576 is a polymer mortar for concrete repair, used for vertical and horizontal structural reinstatement from 6–100 mm. The milky white liquid is mixed with water and a powder bag, then blended with a slow-speed drill to a smooth, lump-free mix. This high build repair mortar is applied over an active, tacky bond coat and compacted firmly.
Mixed on site with water and powder for 3–4 minutes.
Laid as a polymer-modified screed with 0.40% water absorption.
Rebuilds sections within the 6–100 mm layer range.
Compacted and finished to the required profile on a tacky bond coat.
Polymer-modified mortar layer applied over masonry walls.
Listed for bond coat use ahead of overlays.
The repair mortar mix ratio is 2 litres of ROOFCRETE AR liquid with 4.5–5.5 litres of water per 25 kg powder bag. Strength is 13 N/mm² at 1 day and 48 N/mm² at 28 days, with 9 N/mm² flexural strength. Chloride diffusion and carbonation are NIL, so it serves as an anti carbonation repair mortar. Standards listed are BS 4551 Part 14:1980 and BS 1881:1970. Apply over a tacky bond coat of ROOFBOND SBR or ROOFBOND EP and moisture-cure for a minimum of 7 days.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFCRETE AR 576 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
A layer range of 6–100 mm lets you rebuild both shallow and deep repairs with the same mortar.
It develops 13 N/mm² at 1 day and 48 N/mm² at 28 days, so the repair gains strength early.
NIL chloride diffusion and NIL carbonation make it safe for reinforced concrete structural work.
Polymer modifier admixture for structural repair mortar — adjust dosage and aggregate to suit every repair depth and budget.
Get a QuoteSite-batch cement mortar without polymer modification suffers plastic shrinkage, poor bond to old concrete and brittle failure — the repair rings hollow within months.
Add 500ml–2 L per 50 kg cement — dosage matched to repair depth. Get 48 N/mm² structural performance from a site-batch mix, at admixture-tier cost. Add aggregates for mass concrete.
13 N/mm² @ 1 day; 48 N/mm² compressive and 9 N/mm² flexural at 28 days — same polymer chemistry, same structural performance as ROOFCRETE AR.
500ml–2L per 50 kg cement: lower for routine repairs, higher for structural rehabilitation. Also used as polymer concrete admixture with aggregates.
NIL chloride ion diffusion, NIL carbonation and 0.40% water absorption (BS 1881:1970) — safe for reinforced and prestressed concrete.
Longest shelf life in the ROOFCRETE AR range — ideal for stocking, procurement and site logistics without expiry pressure.
Flexible dosage admixture for structural reinstatement mortar and polymer concrete — with the 2-year shelf life of an admixture.
13 N/mm² @ 1 day; 48 N/mm² compressive at 28 days and 9 N/mm² flexural — matches the pre-packed ROOFCRETE AR system.
Adjust dosage per 50 kg cement to suit repair type: lower for minor works, upper for structural rehabilitation and mass polymer concrete.
NIL chloride ion diffusion, NIL carbonation, 0.40% water absorption — reinforcement-safe repair chemistry.
Longest shelf life across the ROOFCRETE AR range — 210 Ltr drums for large project stocking.

ROOFCRETE AR is a two-component, pre-packed, high-build polymer-modified structural reinstatement mortar. Part 1 (polymer liquid) is mixed with Part 2 (fibre-reinforced powder) at the exact factory-set ratio — no site batching, no dosage errors. Achieves 13 N/mm² compressive strength at 1 day, 48 N/mm² at 28 days and 9 N/mm² flexural strength. NIL chloride, NIL carbonation and 0.40% water absorption make it fully reinforcement-safe. For structural repair depths of 6–100 mm on columns, beams, slabs and spalled concrete.
