    ALSTRONG FSL 55

Single-pack cementitious self-levelling floor topping that pours 6–12 mm thick in one go and reaches 20 N/mm² compressive strength within a day.

    • Uneven concrete floor fix
    • Levelling a warehouse floor
    • Floor over rising damp
    • Out-of-tolerance new slabs

ALSTRONG FSL 55 is a single-pack, polymer-enhanced cementitious self-levelling floor topping laid at 6–12mm in one pour. Mixed with water on site, the graded cement and aggregate blend turns into a free-flowing mortar that finds its own level and finishes to a clean, chamfered edge. Compressive strength reaches 20 N/mm² within a day and 35 N/mm² at 28 days, with 9 N/mm² flexural strength and the top Class A impact-resistance band under BS 8204 — built for warehouse, light-engineering and car-park floors, including slabs carrying rising damp.

Where to use ALSTRONG FSL 55: self levelling floor screed for industrial floors

ALSTRONG FSL 55 is a self levelling floor screed in a single pack, made from polymer-enhanced cement and graded aggregate. You add water on site, and the mix becomes a free-flowing mortar that finds its own level. As a warehouse floor topping it is laid 6–12 mm thick in one pour, by trowel for small repairs or by pump for large areas.

    • Warehouse Floors

Carries the top Class A impact band under BS 8204 for forklift traffic.

    • Light & Medium Engineering Bays

Hardens to 35 N/mm² at 28 days for engineering floors.

    • Car Park Decks

Laid 6–12 mm thick in one continuous pour without construction joints.

    • Slabs with Rising Damp

Still performs over sub-floors that carry rising damp.

    • Out-of-Tolerance New Slabs

Flows out to its own level across an uneven new slab.

    • Refurbished Industrial Floors

Takes foot traffic in 2–4 hours, so refurbishment work moves on quickly.

For an uneven concrete floor fix, each 25 kg bag is added to 4.75 litres of water and mixed with a slow-speed drill at 400–500 rpm. This floor levelling compound reaches 20 N/mm² in a day and 35 N/mm² at 28 days, with 9 N/mm² flexural strength. Foot traffic is possible in 2–4 hours and forklifts within a week. Never add extra water to loosen the mix, and pass a spiked roller over the wet surface straight away to release trapped air.

Armstrong Chemicals supplies ALSTRONG FSL 55 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.

    Why ALSTRONG FSL 55 works

    • Finds its own level

Mixed with water, the graded cement and aggregate blend becomes a free-flowing mortar that runs out level, replacing a trowelled sand-cement screed.

    • Early strength gain

Compressive strength reaches 20 N/mm² within a day, which is why the floor can take forklifts within a week.

    • Class A impact band

It sits in the top impact-resistance band under BS 8204, so the topping stands up to forklift wheels and constant industrial traffic.

    How to Use

    1

Prepare the concrete substrate — grind or shot blast to a sound, dust-free surface

    2

Repair cracks and holes and prime the floor, allowing the primer to dry fully

    3

Add each 25 kg bag to 4.75 litres of water — never add extra water to loosen the mix

    4

Mix with a slow-speed drill (400–500 rpm) and paddle until no lumps or powder streaks remain

    5

Tip the mixed material onto the primed floor and let it run out to level on its own

    6

Apply by trowel for small repairs or straight off a continuous mixer pump for large pours

    7

Pass a spiked roller over the wet surface immediately to release trapped air

    8

Allow 2–4 hours before foot traffic; heavy and forklift traffic within a week
