Where to use RAPIDSTRONG LFH ADMIX 91: liquid floor hardener for concrete floors

RAPIDSTRONG LFH ADMIX 91 is a liquid floor hardener of heavy duty grade for industrial flooring and railways. It is an admixture, so you add it to the concrete mix during batching instead of applying it to the surface. The concrete is then poured, levelled and power floated as normal.

• Industrial floors

  Added during mixing for 4x the abrasion resistance of plain concrete.

• Railway platforms

  Heavy duty admixture listed for railways and platform slabs.

• Loading docks

  Dosed at 1 litre per 50 kg cement in the mix.

• Warehouse floors

  Gives a smooth, dense surface finish after power floating.

• Workshop floors

  Concrete is poured and levelled as normal after dosing.

Where an industrial floor is wearing out under traffic, the stated figure is 4x the abrasion resistance of plain concrete. Dosage is 1 litre per 50 kg cement, and specific gravity is 1.15 ± 0.02. The finished surface is smooth and dense, the basis of an abrasion resistant concrete floor. Power float for a smooth finish, then apply curing compound after finishing.
