Two-component epoxy floor topping that gives ESD protection in static conductive or dissipative grades, with a seamless finish for electronics and data centre floors.
Epoxy based Static Conductive / Dissipative seamless floor toppings. Specialist two-component epoxy flooring system providing ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection. Essential for electronic manufacturing, data centres, operating theatres, and areas requiring strict static control.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ARMSTRONG FL/SL C/D is an ESD flooring system, a two-component epoxy topping made in static conductive or dissipative versions. It goes over a conductive primer coat and a copper tape earthing grid, and is applied by squeegee and roller. The result is an anti static epoxy floor with a seamless finish.
ESD protection for floors in electronic manufacturing.
Static control flooring over a copper tape earthing grid.
Seamless epoxy topping for areas requiring strict static control.
Conductive or dissipative grade, with resistance values verified on site.
Applied by squeegee and roller in the specified thickness.
Laid over a conductive primer on shot blasted concrete.
For an anti static floor for a server room, resistance must be verified after application: conductive below 1 MΩ, dissipative 1 MΩ to 1 GΩ. That is the difference between a conductive floor coating and a dissipative one. Thickness is as specified per project. Prepare the concrete to a CSP 3–4 profile, and allow a full cure of 7 days before heavy traffic.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ARMSTRONG FL/SL C/D to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
The copper tape earthing grid conducts static charges safely to ground, which the ESD protection depends on.
Conductive floors below 1 MΩ discharge static rapidly, while dissipative floors from 1 MΩ to 1 GΩ discharge it in a slower, controlled way.
The two-component epoxy forms a seamless finish, one of the stated properties of the system.
Prepare concrete substrate to CSP 3–4 profile by shot blasting or grinding
Repair cracks and defects with epoxy repair mortar
Apply conductive primer coat to establish earthing network
Install copper tape earthing grid as per design
Apply ARMSTRONG FL/SL C/D in specified thickness by squeegee and roller
Verify resistance values meet specification (conductive <1MΩ, dissipative 1MΩ–1GΩ)
Allow full cure of 7 days before heavy traffic
