ARMSTRONG FL SLW is a water based epoxy floor topping supplied as two components. Part A and Part B are mixed, poured onto a primed floor and spread with a ribbed squeegee, where the material smooths itself out. This low VOC epoxy flooring suits occupied buildings and sensitive environments where odour and air quality are a concern.

The topping is laid at 1.5–3 mm over a water-based epoxy primer, on a substrate ground or shot blasted to CSP 2–3. For epoxy flooring in an occupied building, this self smoothing epoxy keeps VOC low. De-aerate with a spiked roller, then allow 24 hours before light foot traffic and 7 days before full service.

Prepare substrate by grinding or shot blasting to CSP 2–3
Repair defects and ensure surface is clean and dry
Apply water-based epoxy primer and allow to cure
Mix Part A and Part B of ARMSTRONG FL SLW in the specified ratio
Pour onto floor and spread evenly with a ribbed squeegee
De-aerate with a spiked roller to remove bubbles
Allow 24 hours before light foot traffic and 7 days before full service
