ARMSTRONG HBF 400 is a heavy duty epoxy flooring product, a two-component high build epoxy coating for demanding industrial environments. After shot blasting and an epoxy primer coat, Part A and Part B are mixed in the specified ratio and applied by squeegee, trowel or notched rake to the specified thickness.

For a heavy duty factory floor, the film builds to 400–2000 microns DFT, giving chemical, mechanical and abrasion resistance along with impact resistance. It is listed for forklift traffic areas, so it serves as a forklift traffic floor coating. Aggregate can be broadcast into the wet coat for slip resistance or extra thickness. Shot blast the concrete to CSP 4–5 first, and allow 7 days full cure before heavy traffic and chemical exposure.
