RAINSEAL FLEX TAPE is an expansion joint sealing tape, pre-formed and highly flexible, for expansion, construction and movement joints in concrete structures. It is pressed into the joint over a bonding adhesive or primer while the adhesive is tacky. A waterproofing membrane is then applied over this flexible joint tape and onto the adjacent surfaces.
High elongation accommodates structural movement at the joint without failure.
Pressed firmly into the prepared joint while the adhesive is tacky.
Tape is fixed along the junction, then covered with the waterproofing membrane.
Needs full contact with both sides of the joint.
Let the waterproofing system cure fully before water exposure.
Suitable for joints in water retaining structures as well.
For expansion joint waterproofing, clean the joint and prepare it to the required profile. The tape width is chosen as per the joint width requirement. As a waterproofing tape for joints it must sit in full contact with both sides. Allow the waterproofing system to cure fully before water exposure.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAINSEAL FLEX TAPE to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
Excellent elongation lets the tape accommodate structural movement at the joint without tearing or failing.
It comes as a pre-formed flexible tape, so it is simply pressed into the primed joint.
A waterproofing membrane is applied over the tape and adjacent surfaces, making the joint part of the waterproofing system.
Clean the joint surface thoroughly — remove dust, oil, and loose material
Prepare joint to the required profile and dimension
Apply bonding adhesive or primer to joint surfaces as specified
Press RAINSEAL FLEX TAPE firmly into the joint while adhesive is tacky
Ensure full contact between tape and both sides of the joint
Apply waterproofing membrane over the tape and onto adjacent surfaces
Allow waterproofing system to cure fully before water exposure

WONDERSEAL XL is a high-performance, highly flexible, water-resistant acrylic latex caulking and fast-setting sealant for architectural and interior finishing applications. White, non-flammable, overpaintable and paperable — seals joints around windows, door frames, cornices, skirtings and staircases with excellent adhesion to concrete, brickwork, plaster, wood and glazed tiles. No priming required. Cures by loss of water, with a skinning time of 15–45 minutes and full cure in 3–5 days.
View DetailsROOFEXSEAL PU is a low-modulus, single-component, high-performance polyurethane sealant. Once cured, it forms a tough, flexible seal capable of cyclic expansion and compression movement of 50% (±25%) of the original joint width. Virtually unaffected by rain, sunlight, snow, sleet, UV radiation, ozone, and atmospheric pollution, it retains its original properties for years of exposure.
View DetailsROOFEX-SEAL PS is a two-component polysulphide liquid polymer sealant, available in Gun Grade (non-sag) and Pour Grade (self-levelling). When mixed, the base and curing agent react to form a firm, flexible rubber-like seal with excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry, wood, glass, acrylic and PVC. Capable of withstanding repeated expansion, contraction and cyclic movement without loss of adhesion — with 30% movement accommodation on butt joints, 50% on lap joints, and a stated service life of 20 years or more. Service temperature: -40°C to +80°C. Compliant with ASTM C-920-87, DIN-18549, TT-S-00227E and BS-4254-83. CPWD and government infrastructure approved.
