Where to use RAPIDSTRONG FM 90: metallic floor hardener for heavy industrial traffic

RAPIDSTRONG FM 90 is a metallic floor hardener that bonds monolithically to the base concrete. It is a metallic dry shake hardener, broadcast onto green concrete that has reached initial set but is still workable. Moisture from the concrete dampens it, then it is floated and trowelled into the surface.

    • Loading Bays & Docks

Hard, dense metallic surface for the heaviest industrial traffic.

    • Machine Shops & Factories

Floated and trowelled into green concrete for maximum abrasion resistance.

    • Steel & Manufacturing Plants

Metallic aggregate topping listed for steel industries.

    • Industrial Ramps

Use the higher end of 6–12 Kg per Sq.mtr for heavy traffic.

    • Power Stations

Bonds monolithically to the base concrete slab.

    • Agricultural Buildings

Lower end of the application range suits normal traffic.

For the heaviest duty concrete floor, it gives a hard, dense metallic surface with maximum abrasion resistance. Broadcast at 6–12 Kg per Sq.mtr over green concrete, using the lower end for normal traffic and the higher end for heavy traffic. That makes it a monolithic floor topping for loading bays, machine shops, ramps and steel industries. Apply curing compound immediately after trowelling to prevent rapid moisture loss.

Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAPIDSTRONG FM 90 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.

    Why RAPIDSTRONG FM 90 works

    • Metallic aggregate

Metallic aggregate in the hardener gives maximum abrasion resistance for the heaviest traffic conditions.

    • Monolithic bond

Applied to green concrete, it bonds monolithically to the base slab instead of sitting on top as its own layer.

    • Adjustable application

Between 6–12 Kg per Sq.mtr can be used, and higher amounts yield better abrasion resistance for heavy traffic.

    How to Use

    1

Place base concrete slab and screed to level — do not allow to fully set

    2

When concrete is at the green stage (initial set but still workable), apply RAPIDSTRONG FM 90

    3

Broadcast dry shake at 6–12 Kg per Sq.mtr — lower rate for normal traffic, higher for heavy

    4

Allow moisture from concrete to dampen the dry shake

    5

Float and trowel the hardener into the concrete surface

    6

Achieve required surface finish by mechanical troweling

    7

Apply curing compound immediately after troweling to prevent rapid moisture loss
