    Dry-Shake Floor Hardener

Wear-resistant surface for new concrete floors

    1. Place, compact and level the concrete. ALSTRONG CA 353 is the high early strength plasticizer for floor concrete.
    2. Wait until the bleed water has gone and the surface can still be worked.
    3. Broadcast the hardener evenly at the chosen rate. Do not sprinkle water on it.
    4. Float it in with a power float and trowel in several passes to a dense finish.
    5. Spray ROOFEXCURE WB at once.
    6. Saw contraction joints and seal them with ROOFEX-SEAL PS or ROOFEXSEAL PU 212.
    7. Allow 7 days before heavy traffic.

With RAPIDSTRONG LFH ADMIX 91 the hardener goes into the mix, so the slab is poured and power-floated as normal.

A hardener densifies the top of the slab so it resists wear and dusting. It does not stop oils and chemicals soaking in; that needs an epoxy floor.

RAPIDSTRONG FM 903.5 kg per sq.m for normal traffic
RAPIDSTRONG CFH 926 to 12 kg per sq.m
RAPIDSTRONG LFH ADMIX 91500 ml to 1 litre per 50 kg cement
    ROOFEXCURE WB4 to 5 sq.m per kg
