Pair of brush-applied primers used before polysulphide sealant, with the PS variant for porous surfaces and the NPS variant for non-porous surfaces.
Specialised primers for Polysulphide sealant applications. PS variant for Porous Surfaces, NPS variant for Non-Porous Surfaces. Must be applied before sealing with ROOFEXSEAL PS polysulphide sealant. Complies with C-920-87, DIN-18549, TT-S-00227E, BS-4254-83.

ROOFEXSEAL PRIMER PS / NPS is a polysulphide sealant primer in two variants, PS for porous surfaces such as concrete and masonry and NPS for non-porous surfaces such as metal and glass. It is brushed in a thin, even coat onto both sides of the joint and left to dry. It must be applied before sealing with ROOFEXSEAL PS.
Use the PS variant on porous concrete joint faces.
PS variant, brushed thinly on both sides of the joint.
Applied before the polysulphide sealant for a watertight joint seal.
Remove dust, oil, loose material and curing compound first.
Seal within the primer's open time once it has dried.
Choose NPS where the joint faces are metal or glass.
For anyone dealing with a sealant adhesion problem, the primer's job is to improve adhesion between the polysulphide sealant and the joint surface. Pick PS for porous surfaces and NPS for non-porous ones. As a joint primer before sealant, it goes on by brush and must dry fully. Apply ROOFEXSEAL PS within the primer's open time, and maintain a minimum 50% depth-to-width ratio when filling the joint.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFEXSEAL PRIMER PS / NPS to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
PS is formulated for porous surfaces like concrete and masonry, NPS for non-porous ones like metal and glass, so each surface gets the right primer.
The primer improves adhesion between the polysulphide sealant and the joint face, giving a long-lasting, watertight joint seal.
A thin, even brush coat on both sides of the joint is all it takes before the sealant goes in.
Clean the joint surface thoroughly — remove dust, oil, loose material and curing compound
Determine surface type: Porous (concrete, masonry) or Non-Porous (metal, glass)
Select correct primer: ROOFEXSEAL PRIMER PS for porous, NPS for non-porous surfaces
Apply primer by brush to both sides of the joint — thin even coat
Allow primer to dry fully before applying sealant
Apply ROOFEXSEAL PS polysulphide sealant within the primer's open time
Ensure minimum 50% depth-to-width ratio is maintained for joint filling

WONDERSEAL XL is a high-performance, highly flexible, water-resistant acrylic latex caulking and fast-setting sealant for architectural and interior finishing applications. White, non-flammable, overpaintable and paperable — seals joints around windows, door frames, cornices, skirtings and staircases with excellent adhesion to concrete, brickwork, plaster, wood and glazed tiles. No priming required. Cures by loss of water, with a skinning time of 15–45 minutes and full cure in 3–5 days.
View DetailsROOFEXSEAL PU is a low-modulus, single-component, high-performance polyurethane sealant. Once cured, it forms a tough, flexible seal capable of cyclic expansion and compression movement of 50% (±25%) of the original joint width. Virtually unaffected by rain, sunlight, snow, sleet, UV radiation, ozone, and atmospheric pollution, it retains its original properties for years of exposure.
View DetailsROOFEX-SEAL PS is a two-component polysulphide liquid polymer sealant, available in Gun Grade (non-sag) and Pour Grade (self-levelling). When mixed, the base and curing agent react to form a firm, flexible rubber-like seal with excellent adhesion to concrete, masonry, wood, glass, acrylic and PVC. Capable of withstanding repeated expansion, contraction and cyclic movement without loss of adhesion — with 30% movement accommodation on butt joints, 50% on lap joints, and a stated service life of 20 years or more. Service temperature: -40°C to +80°C. Compliant with ASTM C-920-87, DIN-18549, TT-S-00227E and BS-4254-83. CPWD and government infrastructure approved.
