ALSTRONG RR-170 is a rust remover based on a phosphoric acid blend, made for iron and steel surfaces. You apply it liberally by brush, or use immersion, and leave it to react. After a scrub with a wire brush and a rinse with clean water, you are left with a clean metal surface.

For rust removal before priming or painting, this rust cleaning chemical needs 15–30 minutes of reaction time on the surface. Coverage depends on the rust level. Scrub with a wire brush, rinse with clean water, and apply primer immediately after drying.
