    RAINCARE PU CLEAR

    • Clear coat for exposed concrete
    • Transparent waterproofing for tiles
    • Waterproofing natural stone
    • Protecting wood and metal

RAINCARE PU CLEAR is a single-component, ready-to-use, transparent polyurethane blended waterproof coating. Being clear, it leaves the original appearance, colour and texture of the substrate completely unchanged — making it ideal wherever a visible protective coat would compromise aesthetics. Single-component, self-curing, cold-curing. Resistant to water, dilute acids, oils, fungi and micro-organisms. Service temperature: -20°C to +80°C. For metal, concrete, wood, asbestos, stone and plaster — for exterior vertical walls, roofs, terraces, metal and asbestos structures, and concrete or metallic floors requiring abrasion resistance.

Where to use RAINCARE PU CLEAR: clear PU waterproof coating that keeps the original look

RAINCARE PU CLEAR is a clear PU waterproof coating that is single-component and ready to use, with no mixing. It dries to a smooth, glossy, transparent film, so the original appearance, colour and texture of the surface stay unchanged. This transparent polyurethane coating is applied by brush, roller or airless spray on a completely dry surface.

    • Exterior Vertical Walls

Waterproofs walls without changing their colour or texture.

    • Roofs & Terraces

Clear film at 35–40 sq.ft per litre per coat on concrete.

    • Metal & Steel Structures

Covers 50–60 sq.ft per litre per coat on steel.

    • Wood Surfaces

Protects wood while its original look stays visible.

    • Asbestos Sheets

Brushed, rolled or sprayed on clean, fully dry sheets.

    • Concrete & Metallic Floors (Abrasion Resistant)

Tough, glossy, abrasion-resistant film for concrete or metallic floors.

    • Natural Stone

Stays invisible, so the stone keeps its colour and texture.

    • Top Coat Protection over Existing Coatings

Clear protective top coat laid over an existing coating.

Used as transparent waterproofing for tiles, stone or exposed concrete, each coat dries to 40–45 microns. Surface dry time is 30–40 minutes, recoat is after 10–12 hours at 30°C, hard dry is 24 hours and full cure takes a minimum of 72 hours. Service temperature is -20°C to +80°C. Packs are 1, 5 and 20 Ltrs. As a clear coat for wood and metal it needs ventilation, so do not apply inside tanks or rooms, and never on damp surfaces.

Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAINCARE PU CLEAR to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.

    Single-Component · Transparent · -20°C to +80°C

    Waterproof Protection. Zero Colour Change.

A clear, glossy, single-component polyurethane coating that leaves metal, concrete, wood and asbestos exactly as it found them — transparent by design, resistant to water, acids, oils, fungi and abrasion, across a service range of -20°C to +80°C.

    Why It Works

    When Waterproof Means Visible

Every standard waterproof coating applies a colour — white, grey, cream — that changes the surface appearance permanently. On exposed concrete, natural stone, wood, metal or asbestos, a coloured coat changes what the surface looks like.

    The RAINCARE PU CLEAR Advantage

A transparent polyurethane coat that protects against water, acids, oils, fungi and abrasion while leaving the original surface colour and texture completely unchanged. Waterproofing that is invisible by design.

    -20°C to +80°C Service Temperature

The widest service temperature range of any Armstrong waterproof coating — from sub-zero cold storage environments to high-temperature metal roofs and industrial surfaces in tropical climates.

    Multi-Substrate — One Clear Coat

Bonds strongly to cement concrete, cement plaster, mild steel, wood, stone and asbestos — the broadest substrate range of any single-component coating in the Armstrong range, in one ready-to-use product.

    Concrete & Masonry
External walls, roofs, terraces and plaster surfaces — waterproofed without changing the concrete appearance
    Metal & Steel
Mild steel structures, asbestos and metal roofs — corrosion and abrasion protection at 50–60 sq.ft per litre per coat
    Wood & Natural Stone
Preserves the natural colour, grain and texture of wood and stone while forming a tough, fungi-resistant waterproof film

    Transparent PU Waterproof Coating

    Clear by Design

Waterproof protection that preserves the original appearance of every surface.

    Transparent — Original Look Preserved

Dries to a clear, smooth, glossy finish — the original colour, texture and character of concrete, metal, wood or stone remains fully visible through the coating.

    -20°C to +80°C Service Range

The widest service temperature range of any Armstrong waterproof coating — performing across sub-zero cold storage and high-temperature industrial metal surfaces simultaneously.

    4 Substrate Types — 1 Product

Bonds strongly to concrete, mild steel, wood and asbestos — one ready-to-use product covering every surface type that requires transparent waterproof protection.

Acid, Oil, Fungi & Abrasion Resistant

Resistant to water, dilute acids, oils, chemical solutions, fungi and micro-organisms — and abrasion-resistant enough for use on concrete and metallic floors.

    How to Use

    1

Ensure the surface is completely dry — RAINCARE PU CLEAR must not be applied on damp or moist surfaces (blister formation will occur)

    2

Clean thoroughly by wire brushing and water washing — remove dust, loose particles, oils, grease, mould release agents and old coatings

    3

For new concrete or plaster: allow minimum 28 days water curing before application

    4

For heavily dirty or acid-etched surfaces: wash with 15–20% hydrochloric acid, wire brush thoroughly, then wash with water until neutralised; allow to dry completely

    5

Apply RAINCARE PU CLEAR by brush, roller or airless spray

    6

Allow 10–12 hours between coats at 30°C

    7

Ensure adequate ventilation during application — do not apply inside tanks or rooms

    8

Do not apply when substrate temperature is below 10°C

    9

Hard dry: 24 hours · Full cure: minimum 72 hours

    10

Clean tools with water immediately after use

    11

Once the container is opened, consume the product immediately

    Packing & Storage

Available in 1, 5 & 20 Litre packs. Shelf life 12 months at -10°C to +35°C in original unopened containers. Consume immediately once opened — do not store partially used containers.

    Key Constraints

Not for damp or moist surfaces — blister formation will occur. Do not apply inside tanks or rooms — adequate ventilation mandatory. Do not apply below 10°C substrate temperature. Some people are sensitive to resins, hardeners and solvents — wear gloves and goggles during application.

    Clear by Design

RAINCARE PU CLEAR dries completely transparent — the original colour, texture and appearance of the substrate remains visible through the coating. No white film, no colour change, no loss of natural surface character.
