ROOFEX 2K 711 is a high-performance two-component crystalline waterproof coating mixed at 1:2:0.2 (Liquid:Powder:Water). Its active ingredients penetrate concrete and react with cement and moisture to form multiplied crystals that seal capillaries, pores and cracks from within. Tested to multiple ASTM standards: 10–12 bar hydrostatic resistance, 51 MPa compressive strength, 1.65 MPa adhesion and 16% elongation. Flexible, self-healing, self-curing. Suitable for positive and negative waterproofing on concrete, brick and stone masonry. For reservoirs, swimming pools, water tanks, basements, tunnels and sewage treatment plants.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ROOFEX 2K 711 is a two component crystalline waterproofing coating made from a liquid part and a powder part mixed with water. You apply it by brush or spray on a dampened surface. Its active ingredients react with cement and moisture to form crystals that seal capillaries, pores and cracks from within. This flexible crystalline coating works on concrete, brick and stone masonry.
Wait a minimum of 15 days before filling.
Brush or spray applied on the dampened pool surface.
Resists 10–12 bars of hydrostatic pressure (ASTM D 5385).
Suitable for both positive and negative waterproofing.
Allow a minimum of 48 hours before foot traffic.
Crystals seal capillaries, pores and cracks from within.
Flexible coating with elongation up to 16%.
Adhesion to concrete is 1.65 MPa (ASTM D 4541).
Self-healing crystalline coating applied by brush or spray.
Compatible with brick and stone for negative pressure waterproofing.
For brick wall seepage from inside or a high pressure tank, the tested figures are 10–12 bars hydrostatic resistance, 51 ± 5 MPa compressive strength and 1.65 MPa adhesion to concrete. Coverage is 1.2–1.6 kg/m² in total for about 1 mm DFT. It is used for reservoir waterproofing and comes in 15 kg and 30 kg packs. Pot life is 45 minutes to 1 hour at 30°C, so mix only what you can apply immediately. Moisture cure by fog or mist spray 3–4 times a day for 2–3 days.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFEX 2K 711 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
Active ingredients react with cement and moisture to form crystals that seal capillaries, pores and cracks inside the substrate.
Elongation up to 16% (ASTM D 412) gives the cured coating a measure of flexibility.
Water vapour permeability of 1.85 ± 0.05 g/m²/day (ASTM E 96) means the coating is breathable.
The only two-component crystalline coating in the Armstrong range with ASTM-tested hydrostatic resistance, high compressive strength and 16% elongation flexibility — suitable for concrete, brick and stone masonry under positive and negative pressure.

Standard crystalline coatings are rigid — they perform well until thermal cycling or structural movement opens new cracks the coating cannot bridge.
ROOFEX 2K 711 accommodates 16% elongation (ASTM D 412) — a flexible crystalline system that moves with the structure while still sealing from within.
ASTM D 5385 tested — the highest quantified pressure rating in the Armstrong crystalline range.
ASTM C 109 tested with 6.5 MPa flexural tensile (ASTM D 790) and 1.65 MPa adhesion to concrete (ASTM D 4541).
Standard crystalline products are rigid. 16% elongation (ASTM D 412) accommodates structural movement and thermal cycling without cracking.
Crystal growth continues with moisture exposure — self-healing new micro-cracks. Self-curing properties reduce dependency on external moisture curing.
For water reservoirs, swimming pools, tanks, basements, tunnels, canals, silos and STPs.
The highest quantified pressure resistance in the Armstrong crystalline range — for water tanks, tunnels and basements under head.
Full ASTM data set: C 109 compressive, D 790 flexural (6.5 MPa), D 4541 adhesion — structural-grade performance.
ASTM D 412 — accommodates thermal cycling and structural movement without cracking, unlike standard rigid crystalline systems.
Explicitly suitable for brick and stone masonry under negative pressure — a capability not stated in single-component crystalline powders.
Surface must be sound, clean, free from laitance; dampen before application
Mix Part I + Part II + 20% water thoroughly
⚠️ Pot life 45 min–1 hr @ 30°C — mix only what can be applied immediately
Apply 2–3 coats at 1.2–1.6 kg/m² total by brush or spray; second coat within 48 hours while green; lightly pre-wet between coats
⚠️ Moisture cure: fog/mist spray 3–4× daily for 2–3 days — curing compounds not suitable
Protect from rain 24 hrs, frost 5 days
Minimum 48 hours foot traffic · Minimum 15 days before filling water structures
Full activation 2–4 weeks · High hydrostatic pressure: contact Armstrong
15 kg and 30 kg packs only. Shelf life 1 year stored dry, out of sun.
Pot life 45 min–1 hr @ 30°C. ⚠️ Curing compounds not suitable — moisture cure only. 15 days before filling water structures. 48 hours foot traffic. Full activation 2–4 weeks. High hydrostatic pressure: contact Armstrong.
Three capabilities standard crystalline products lack: self-healing (crystals regrow with moisture), self-curing, and 16% elongation flexibility — accommodating structural movement and thermal cycling. Compare with ROOFEX and ROOFEX COP.

RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PU is an expansive, water-reactive, water-barrier polyurethane injection grout for free-flow pressure grouting. When it contacts water — including seawater and water containing slight acids or alkalies — it reacts quickly, expands into surrounding pores, cracks and narrow gaps, and polymerises within 36–48 seconds into a tough, highly adhesive solid. Non-toxic, non-pollutant, with no effect on potable water or marine life. Suitable for soil and abutment stabilisation, underground basements, retaining walls, rock areas, earth filling segments and structures exposed to waste water, industrial, chemical and sewage environments.
View DetailsRAPIDSTRONG GROUT VM 99 is a high-performance, solvent-free, two-component polyurethane-based duromer injection resin for the structural sealing and strengthening of cracks, joints and cavities in both dry and water-bearing concrete structures. Mixed A+B at 1:1, it gels in 25–30 seconds and achieves >75 MPa compressive strength and 70 MPa flexural tensile strength — tested to DIN EN 196 T1. Capable of curing down to -20°C, with 1–12× volume expansion on water contact depending on ingress, and re-injectable through existing hoses for permanent capillary sealing. Suitable for pressure injection and gravity feed. Industrial use only.
