Latex additive that replaces the mixing water, partly or fully, in sanded and unsanded cementitious grout for dense, colour-fast joints with high shear bond strength.
High Performance Latex Additive for Cementitious Sanded and Unsanded Grout for Tile Joints. Replace water partially or fully with TILEX URP ADMIX 73 for dense, color-fast grout joints. Also recommended as admix with tile adhesives. Provides high shear bond strength and excellent exterior and submerged performance.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
TILEX URP ADMIX 73 is a latex additive for tile grout, used with both sanded and unsanded cementitious grouts. You replace the mixing water with it, partly or fully, and mix to the required consistency. It is also recommended as an admix with tile adhesives, so it doubles as a polymer for tile adhesive.
Excellent submerged performance for grout in pool tiling.
Added to tile adhesive for exterior wall work.
Used in grout and adhesive for submerged tiling.
Provides high shear bond strength in the mixed material.
Replace the grout water with the admix for dense joints.
Mixed into the adhesive for bonding tiles to plywood and concrete.
If the question is how to make tile grout waterproof, this admix is listed as waterproof, flexible, high bond and acid resistant, with resistance to diluted acids. It suits interior, exterior and submerged work, so it is used as a swimming pool grout additive. Packs are 250 ml, 500 ml, 1, 5 and 20 litres. For adhesives, follow the recommended dosage from Armstrong. Apply the grout or adhesive immediately after mixing.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies TILEX URP ADMIX 73 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
Swapping the mixing water for latex, partly or fully, gives dense and colour-fast grout joints.
It provides high shear bond strength, with excellent performance in exterior and submerged work.
The admix gives the grout resistance to diluted acids along with improved flexibility.
For tile grout: replace water fully or partially with TILEX URP ADMIX 73
Add admix to grout powder and mix to required consistency
For tile adhesive: add admix as per recommended dosage per 50kg bag of cement
