CONPROOF LW 200 is an integral waterproofing admixture for concrete and cement mortars, containing a blend of hydrophobic particles, lignosulphonates and proprietary chemicals that contract capillaries and make concrete denser and more watertight. Compliant with IS 2645-2003 and corrosion-resistant to JIS: Z 1535 (modified). Improves workability, cohesiveness and water reduction — uniform waterproofing throughout the mix from a single liquid dose. Free from sulphates; chloride content less than 0.1%.

Where to use CONPROOF LW 200: integral waterproofing admixture for concrete and mortar
CONPROOF LW 200 is an integral waterproofing admixture for concrete and cement mortars, supplied as a dark brown liquid. It blends hydrophobic particles, lignosulphonates and proprietary chemicals that contract capillaries and make the mix denser and more watertight. As a lignosulphonate admixture it also improves workability and cohesiveness, and you add it to the gauging water or the wet mix.

To prevent water seepage in new concrete, dose 125–200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement. At 200 ml you can reduce water by up to 15%. Water permeability is below 15%, against the 50% maximum allowable under IS 2645, and the product complies with IS 2645-2003. This low chloride admixture has less than 0.1% chloride, is free from sulphates and suits all Portland and sulphate-resisting cements, but not High Alumina Cement. Add it to the gauging water, never directly to the cement.

Concrete has interconnected capillaries that carry water inward under hydrostatic pressure and capillary action. Treating only the surface leaves the internal structure porous. Surface coatings can't address channels that run through the structure itself.

Safety & Compatibility
Water-based and non-hazardous. Do not swallow or allow contact with skin or eyes. Not compatible with High Alumina Cement. Do not premix with other admixtures — if other admixtures are needed on site, dispense them separately into the mix.
