ReadElastomeric Waterproof Coatings
RAINSEAL FRC 623 is a single-component, 100% pure, multi-dimensional fibre reinforced acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating with the highest elongation in its family — 450% at break. Self-curing, tough and abrasion-resistant, with 7-bar water permeability resistance (BS EN 12390 & ASTM C 297), 80% heat reflectivity (ASTM E 903) and 2000-hour UV resistance (ASTM G 154). Compliant with ASTM C-836/89 A. Formerly RAINPROOF FRC 623.

RAINSEAL FRC 623 is a fibre reinforced waterproof coating, a single-component acrylic elastomeric product with multi-dimensional fibres. It is self-curing, tough and abrasion-resistant, with 450% elongation at break. You dilute it with up to 20% water and apply it by brush, roller or airless spray over a primer coat of the same product.
Bridges cracks up to 2 mm, with 80% heat reflectivity.
Brush, roller or airless spray in two or three coats.
Tough, abrasion-resistant elastomeric film applied over stone.
Applied over a primer coat of the same product thinned with water.
Fibre mesh can be embedded in the first wet coat.
UV resistance of 2000 hours with no deterioration.
No leak at 7 bar in water permeability testing.
Allow the 7 days full cure before water exposure.
Where terrace cracks keep coming back, this heat reflective roof coating bridges cracks up to 2 mm and shows no leak at 7 bar. Heat reflectivity is 80% ± 2%, for a room-temperature reduction of approximately 8°C. Coverage is 50–60 sq.ft per litre per coat, and packs run from 1 to 210 litres. It complies with ASTM C-836/89 A. Prime with the product diluted 2:1 with water, leave 24 hours between coats, and allow 7 days for full cure.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAINSEAL FRC 623 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
Fibres reinforce the acrylic film, and the coating reaches 450% elongation at break, so it can stretch as the roof moves.
It bridges cracks up to 2 mm and shows no leak at 7 bar, so small cracks under the film stay covered.
With 80% heat reflectivity, the white coating reduces roof surface and room temperature by approximately 8°C.
A single-component 100% pure multi-dimensional fibre reinforced acrylic elastomeric coating. Self-curing, tough, abrasion-resistant, with 7-bar water permeability resistance (BS EN 12390 & ASTM C 297) and 80% heat reflectivity.
Get a QuoteMulti-dimensional fibre reinforcement with 450% elongation at break — the highest of any single-component acrylic coating in the Armstrong range. Bridges existing and future cracks under thermal and structural movement.
No leak at 7 bar hydrostatic pressure — dual-tested to BS EN 12390 Part 8 and ASTM C 297. Bridges cracks up to 2mm (ASTM C 836). Adhesion >1.5 N/mm² to concrete.
No deterioration or colour fade after 2000 hours of accelerated UV exposure (ASTM G 154). 80% heat reflectivity (ASTM E 903) reduces room temperature by approximately 8°C.
Can be reinforced with fibre mesh or fibre glass tissue embedded in the first wet coat for extended warranty and additional crack-bridging capacity across dynamic substrates.
The highest-elongation single-component acrylic coating in the range — for roof terraces, domes, stone walls, metal sheets and asbestos.
Multi-dimensional fibre reinforcement delivers 450% elongation at break — the highest of any single-component acrylic coating in the Armstrong range. Accommodates 2mm crack bridging (ASTM C 836).
No leak at 7 bar hydrostatic pressure — tested to both BS EN 12390 Part 8 and ASTM C 297. Adhesion >1.5 N/mm², water vapour transmission 19 g/m²/day for a breathable membrane.
No deterioration, no colour fade after 2000 hours of accelerated UV exposure (ASTM G 154:2000). Resistant to salt water, mild acids, alkalies and fungal growth.
80% ± 2% heat reflectivity (ASTM E 903) reduces room temperature by approximately 8°C. Coverage 50–60 sq.ft/L per coat with up to 20% water dilution.
