    • Hot rooms under the roof
    • Waterproofing flat roofs
    • Waterproofing water retaining structures

RAINSEAL CFR 613 is a single-component cellulose fibre reinforced aliphatic acrylic elastomeric solar reflective waterproof coating — the highest-SRI (106) coating in the Armstrong CFR/FRC family. Aliphatic film formation delivers inherent UV stability with no yellowing, reducing roof surface and interior room temperature by 8–10°C. 2000-hour UV resistance (ASTM G 154), 7-bar water permeability resistance and the longest 2-year shelf life in the range. Compliant with ASTM C-836/89 A and ISO 9001:2015. Formerly RAINPROOF CFR 613.

Where to use RAINSEAL CFR 613: solar reflective waterproof coating for roofs and terraces

RAINSEAL CFR 613 is a solar reflective waterproof coating, a single-component aliphatic acrylic elastomeric product reinforced with cellulose fibre. With an SRI of 106, it reduces roof surface and interior room temperature by 8–10°C. This cool roof waterproof coating is diluted with up to 20% water and applied by brush, roller or airless spray.

    • Flat Roofs & Terraces

White reflective coat that lowers room temperature by 8–10°C.

    • Sloped Roofs

Two coats, the second applied perpendicular to the first.

    • External Walls

Aliphatic film stays UV stable with no yellowing.

    • Domes

Applied by brush, roller or airless spray over a primer coat.

    • Basements

No leak at 7 bar in water permeability testing.

    • Swimming Pools

Allow 7 days full cure before water exposure.

    • Water Retaining Structures

Bridges cracks up to 2 mm, with adhesion to concrete above 1.5 N/mm².

For terrace heat and leakage together, the figures are SRI 106 to ASTM E 903, no leak at 7 bar and crack bridging up to 2 mm. Elongation at break is 200%. As a UV stable white roof coating it shows no deterioration after 2000 hours to ASTM G 154. Coverage is 50–60 sq.ft per litre per coat, and shelf life is 24 months unopened. Prime with the product diluted 2:1 with water, and allow 7 days full cure before water exposure.

Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAINSEAL CFR 613 to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.

    Why RAINSEAL CFR 613 works

    • SRI of 106

The coating reflects a very high fraction of solar radiation, reducing roof surface and interior room temperature by 8–10°C.

    • Aliphatic acrylic film

Aliphatic film formation is inherently UV stable, so the white coating resists yellowing, chalking and degradation in sunlight.

    • Cellulose fibre reinforcement

The elastomeric film is reinforced with cellulose fibre. It bridges cracks up to 2 mm and shows no leak at 7 bar.

Aliphatic UV Stability — By Chemistry

Aliphatic elastomeric film formation is inherently UV-stable. No yellowing, no chalking, no degradation under 2000+ hours of accelerated UV exposure (ASTM G 154). Same aliphatic advantage found in RAINPROOF PWR 690.

    7-Bar Water Resistance

No leak at 7 bar hydrostatic pressure (ASTM C 297). Bridges cracks up to 2mm (ASTM C 836) with 200% elongation. Breathable water vapour permeability — no blistering or delamination.

    2-Year Shelf Life

The longest shelf life of any FRC/CFR coating in the Armstrong range — twice the 12-month life of RAINSEAL FRC 623. Store cool and dry in original packing.

    ISO 9001:2015 Manufacturing

This brochure names the 2015 revision of ISO 9001 — the current quality management standard. Compliant with ASTM C-836/89 A across mechanical and water resistance testing.
