    RAPIDSTRONG AG

    • Fixing foundation bolts in concrete
    • Rebar fixing in existing concrete
    • Rock bolting in tunnels
    • Underwater base bolts

RAPIDSTRONG AG is a two-component, high-strength polyester resin anchor grout for anchoring foundation bolts, reinforcement bars, machinery base plates and structural fixings into concrete or rock. When the two components are mixed, an exothermic reaction occurs — the resin cures and hardens to produce anchorage of exceptional durability and strength. Non-expansive, free-flowing, and usable in wet or underwater conditions. Achieves 70 N/mm² compressive strength in 1 day and 81 N/mm² at 7 days. Complies with ASTM-827 SNF CROC 621, BS 5080 and BS 4551.

Where to use RAPIDSTRONG AG: chemical anchor grout for bolts and rebar

RAPIDSTRONG AG is a chemical anchor grout made from two components, a resin and modified fillers. Mixed together they react and give off heat, and the resin hardens into a strong, durable anchorage. As a polyester resin anchor grout it is free-flowing and non-expansive, and it is poured into the drilled hole before the bolt is pressed in.

    • Foundation Bolt Fixing

Pour into the drilled hole, then press the bolt to the bottom.

    • Machinery Base Plates

Reaches 70 N/mm² compressive strength in 1 day at 30°C.

    • Reinforcement & Extension Bar Anchoring

Anchors reinforcement and extension bars into concrete.

    • Load-Bearing Structural Anchorages

A site pull-out test recorded bolt failure at 11 tonnes.

    • Rock Bolting in Tunnels

Free-flowing resin fills the annular space around rock bolts.

    • Underwater Base Bolts

Designed for use in wet or underwater conditions.

    • Anchoring to Concrete & Rock

The hole must be free of grease, oil and contamination.

On anchor bolt grout strength, RAPIDSTRONG AG reaches 70 N/mm² compressive in 1 day and 81 N/mm² at 7 days at 30°C, with 12.5 N/mm² tensile and 24 N/mm² flexural strength. Each 1 kg yields 0.5 litres of mixed product, so size your order from the annular volume plus wastage. For base plate bolt grouting, pot life is 20–25 minutes at 30°C and shorter when hotter. Once the bolt is in position, do not disturb it until the grout has set.

Armstrong Chemicals supplies RAPIDSTRONG AG to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.

    Two-Component Polyester Resin Anchor Grout

The Grout That Outlasts the Bolt

In BS 5080 testing with a 20mm bolt and 200mm anchorage: no product failure. The bolt itself failed at 11 tonnes. RAPIDSTRONG AG — 81 N/mm² at 7 days, exothermic curing, wet and underwater use.

    Why It Works

Why Standard Grouts Fail Under Load

Cement-based grouts expand during curing, can't handle vibration, and lose bond in wet or submerged conditions — exactly the environments that foundation bolts, machinery mounts and tunnel rock bolts operate in.

    The RAPIDSTRONG AG Advantage

A non-expansive polyester resin that cures exothermically — achieving 70 N/mm² in 24 hours, unaffected by vibration, usable wet or underwater, and strong enough that in BS 5080 testing the bolt failed before the grout.

Exothermic Cure — Works Wet or Underwater

The exothermic reaction between Part 1 and Part 2 generates its own heat during curing — allowing RAPIDSTRONG AG to set and harden even in wet substrates or fully submerged conditions where cold-set systems can't perform.

    Non-Expansive, Vibration-Resistant

Unlike expansive grouts that can crack the surrounding concrete, RAPIDSTRONG AG is non-expansive — precision anchorage with no substrate damage, and unaffected by vibration during and after cure.

    Performance Where It Counts

    Real Test Data, Real Conditions

    11-Tonne Bond
BS 5080 test: no grout failure, bolt failed at 11 tonnes
    70 N/mm² in 24 Hours
Rapid strength gain — full working load in 1 day
    Wet & Underwater
Exothermic cure works in submerged or damp conditions
    Engineered Anchorage

Anchor Strength That Outlasts the Structure

A two-component polyester resin grout where the bolt fails before the bond does.

Bolt Fails First — Not the Grout

In BS 5080 testing with a 20mm bolt and 200mm anchorage: no product failure — the bolt itself failed at 11 tonnes.

    Rapid Strength — 70 N/mm² in 24 Hours

Achieves 70 N/mm² compressive strength in 1 day and 81 N/mm² at 7 days — delivering working-load strength without long cure waits.

    Wet, Damp & Underwater Use

Exothermic curing generates its own heat — RAPIDSTRONG AG hardens in wet substrates and submerged conditions where standard grouts can't.

    Non-Expansive, Vibration-Proof

Does not expand during cure — no stress on the surrounding concrete. Unaffected by vibration during set or in service.

    Packing & Shelf Life

Available in 1 Kg packs only. Shelf life of 6 months from manufacture — and reduced further if stored at high temperatures. Store dry at 20°C.

    Safety & Precautions

Should not contact skin — wash immediately with soap and water. If it enters eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Clean all tools with appropriate cleaning agents. ⚠️ Do not disturb the bolt once placed until fully set.

    Yield & Estimation

1 kg of RAPIDSTRONG AG yields 0.5 litres of mixed product. Calculate the volume of the annular space around the bolt in the drilled hole, then add a wastage allowance. For anchorage depth and annular sizing, contact the RAPIDSTRONG AG technical representative.

    How to Use

    1

Drill the hole to the required depth and diameter — contact the RAPIDSTRONG AG technical representative for anchorage depth and annular size guidance

    2

Ensure the drilled hole contains no grease, oil or contamination — any contamination will affect bond

    3

Thoroughly mix Part 1 (Resin) and Part 2 (Modified Fillers) using a mechanical mixer until a completely uniform mixture is obtained

    4

⚠️ Pot life is 20–25 minutes at 30°C — shorter at higher temperatures. Mix only what can be placed in that window

    5

Pour the required quantity of mixed RAPIDSTRONG AG gradually into the drilled hole

    6

Press the bolt gently until it touches the bottom of the hole and the resin fills the annular space

    7

Move the bolt slightly once or twice to ensure even spreading in the annular space

    8

Once the bolt is in position, do not disturb it at any cost — allow RAPIDSTRONG AG to set fully
