ROOFEXCURE WB is a 100% acrylic blended, white pigmented, water-based concrete curing compound compliant with ASTM-C-309 Types 1-1D, Class B and IS 15865:2018. Applied by spray to freshly placed concrete, it forms an impervious penetrative membrane that prevents excessive water evaporation — allowing more efficient cement hydration and significantly reducing shrinkage, crazing, spalling and flaking. A single application replaces water ponding, Hessian covers and sand blanket curing entirely. The white pigmentation confirms even coverage visually on site. Compatible with paints, adhesives and resilient floor coverings. Non-toxic, non-flammable. Approved for dams, bridges, roads, reservoirs, canal linings, buildings and precast concrete.
Figures are controlled laboratory results. Actual site performance varies with substrate, temperature, humidity, application method and workmanship — please confirm the current product datasheet before specification.
ROOFEXCURE WB is a concrete curing compound that is water-based, 100% acrylic blended and white pigmented. Sprayed onto freshly placed concrete, it forms an impervious penetrative membrane that stops excessive water evaporation, so the cement hydrates more efficiently. One application of this acrylic curing compound replaces water ponding, Hessian covers and sand blanket curing.
Sprayed 1–2 hours after placing, once visible surface water has gone.
Single spray application in place of water ponding on road concrete.
Approved for dams, reducing shrinkage, crazing, spalling and flaking.
Holds water in canal lining concrete so the cement hydrates efficiently.
Approved for bridges and reservoirs as a single-application cure.
White pigment shows on site that coverage is even.
Applied immediately after the formwork is removed.
Applied as soon as the element is demoulded.
Compatible with many paints, adhesives and resilient floor coverings.
ROOFEXCURE WB complies with ASTM-C-309 Types 1-1D, Class B and IS 15865:2018. Coverage is 4–6 sq.m per kg on textured concrete and 5–6 sq.m per kg on smooth concrete, applied at 145–250 ml/m². If you want to know how to cure concrete without water, this is spray curing for slabs with a knapsack sprayer held about 450 mm from the surface. It is non-toxic and non-flammable, with a shelf life of 2 years. Clean the sprayer with fresh water immediately after use.
Armstrong Chemicals supplies ROOFEXCURE WB to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai.
A white pigmented acrylic curing compound that forms a single-application impervious membrane on freshly placed concrete — replacing water ponding, Hessian covers and sand curing with a spray that takes minutes and holds for the full curing period.
Get a QuoteWater ponding evaporates unevenly. Hessian covers dry out if not re-wetted. Sand blankets are labour-intensive and variable. In hot, dry or windy site conditions, traditional curing frequently produces shrinkage cracks, surface crazing and dusty, weak concrete.
A single spray application forms an impervious acrylic membrane that holds moisture in the concrete for the complete curing period — eliminating the labour, water and risk of erratic curing associated with traditional methods.
The white pigment is not decorative — it's a quality control tool. Gaps or thin spots in the white film are immediately visible on site, allowing complete coverage to be confirmed and corrected before the curing window closes.
Does not need to be removed before applying paints, tile adhesives or resilient floor coverings — reducing re-preparation time between curing and finishing trades.
Single application replaces water curing — ASTM-C-309 and IS 15865:2018 certified for major infrastructure.
A single spray application forms an impervious acrylic membrane that retains moisture for the full curing period — eliminating the labour and risk of erratic traditional curing methods.
Dual standard compliance — US (ASTM-C-309 Types 1-1D, Class B) and Indian (IS 15865:2018) — for specifying on government, infrastructure and commercial projects.
The impervious membrane prevents premature water evaporation — the primary cause of surface shrinkage cracks, crazing, spalling and flaking on freshly placed concrete.
Approved for dams, bridges, canal linings, roads, reservoirs and buildings — and for precast elements immediately after demoulding.
Ensure the concrete surface is clean and free from standing water; remove any existing sealer or material that may prevent absorption of ROOFEXCURE WB
Exposed concrete slabs: apply 1–2 hours after placing, once the surface is free from visible water
Shuttered/precast concrete: apply immediately after formwork is removed or element demoulded
Fill a knapsack sprayer (5–10 litres, 2.0mm lance, adjustable nozzle); alternatively, apply by brush
Hold the spray nozzle approximately 450mm from the concrete surface
Pass the spray back and forth to ensure complete and even coverage — the white pigmentation confirms uniform application visually
Maintain pump pressure to produce a fine spray; application rate 145–250 ml/m²
A single application is sufficient — no additional water, Hessian or sand curing required
Clean spray equipment thoroughly with fresh water immediately after use
If the spray nozzle becomes blocked with acrylic particles, clear with white spirit or similar fluid
Available in 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 & 225 Kg packs. Shelf life of 2 years at 5°C–35°C. Keep containers airtight to prevent surface evaporation.
⚠️ Apply to exposed slabs within 1–2 hours of placing — once the surface is free from visible water. For shuttered or precast concrete: apply immediately after formwork removal. Delayed application reduces curing effectiveness.
A single application of ROOFEXCURE WB eliminates the need for water ponding, Hessian covers and sand blanket curing — reducing site labour, water usage and the risk of erratic or incomplete curing. Cross-links with ROOFPLAST SP 35 and ROOFPLAST SP 25 where water curing is impractical.
