Polyurethane blended bituminous build-up for terraces and sheet roofs

TerracesRoof sheetsRoofs where a black bituminous base is wanted
    1. Clean the surface of dirt, dust and other contamination.
    2. Seal surface cracks with RAINSEAL BXL, the acrylic polymer blended bituminous sealing compound.
    3. Apply one coat of RAINPROOF PRG 909 diluted 1:1 with water as a primer.
    4. Lay 40 GSM geo-fabric on the wet primer coat on concrete terraces, or fibre mesh on roof sheets, with the strips overlapped.
    5. Apply two coats of RAINPROOF PRG 909 over the fabric, diluted with about 20% water.
    6. Where a white or tinted finish is wanted, finish with two coats of RAINSEAL 200 diluted with 20% water.

Overlap the geo-fabric strips and press them into the wet primer so no air is trapped under the fabric.

The polyurethane blended bituminous coating combines the elongation of PU with the water resistance of bitumen. The geo-fabric reinforces the film across cracks and laps.
