    1. Clean the surface of dirt, dust, oil, grease and other contamination. On large faces use mechanised buffing tools.
    2. Groove and seal cracks with ROOFEXSEAL PU 212.
    3. As a primer, apply one coat of RAINSEAL RWC 902 diluted with about 50% water.
    4. Lay the reinforcement into a coat of RAINSEAL RWC 902 diluted with about 20% water: geo-fabric on concrete, fibre mesh on metal and GI sheets.
    5. Apply the following coats of RAINSEAL RWC 902 with 20% water, each after the previous coat has dried. On bridge piers, three coats are applied.
    6. Top-coat with RAINSEAL 200 or a cool roof coating where a white, reflective finish is wanted.

Concrete faces must be handed over without honeycombs, holes or undulations, and fully cured. Repair those first with polymer mortar.

Rubberised and acrylic-bituminous coatings stretch 500% to 700%, so they suit cracked, moving or weathered roofs and old bitumen surfaces. RAINSEAL RWC 902 is used as the base coat with mesh in the Armstrong five-layer build-up.
