    Resin Injection for Wet Cracks

Two-component resins for damp cracks and construction joints

    1. If water is running, inject a PU grout first and return when the flow has stopped.
    2. For RAPIDSTRONG GROUT PCR 89, drill 12 to 14 mm holes on alternating sides of the crack and fix nozzles with RAPIDSTRONG QS 113 mixed with cement.
    3. Stir each part separately. Mix RAPIDSTRONG GROUT VM 99 Part A and Part B at 1:1 in a two-component pump; never mix it in bulk. Add accelerator at 0.2% where ingress is heavy.
    4. Inject with slow, steady pressure from the lowest port, moving on when resin flows from the next port.
    5. Re-inject through the same ports if the crack is not full.
    6. After full cure, close the holes with ROOFCRETE AR.

RAPIDSTRONG GROUT VM 99 must not be thinned, needs concrete cured 28 days, and contains a flammable monomer: no smoking, flame or sparks near the work. It is for non-moving joints, not expansion joints.

These resins travel the crack to its full depth and seal damp concrete that a PU foam alone would not bond. They can be re-injected through the same ports.
