    1. Prepare a sound, clean, level surface free of oil, laitance and curing compound.
    2. Tile on concrete at least 28 days old, unless TILEX URP ADMIX 73 replaces the water in TILEX 351 PLUS.
    3. Dampen the surface; no standing water.
    4. Put water in the bucket first and add the powder: TILEX 351 PLUS takes 5.5 to 6 litres per 20 kg bag. Mix, stand 5 minutes, mix again.
    5. Comb the bed with a 6 mm × 6 mm notched trowel; spread only what can be tiled in the 30-minute open time.
    6. Press each tile in with a twist and bed with a rubber mallet. Back-butter tiles larger than 12 × 12 inches.
    7. Use spacers and leave movement joints, sealed, never grouted.

Large tiles and stone take TILEX 353. Tile on tile and boards take TILEX 521 or TILEX 512.

A thin, full-contact polymer-modified bed bonds far better than a thick cement mortar bed, so tiles do not sound hollow or come loose.
